![]() There is only some sort of white noise output through the speakers however. If I skip in to the file (any length) then the display switches over from ANA to DIG and the front speakers light up on the display. The weird thing is, if I play a file with AC3/DTS my AVR does nothing on the display and nothing comes out of the speakers. I am using Media Player Classic HomeCinema with AC3Filter - AC3 and DTS passthrough are both ticked. The problem arises once AC3/DTS is tried to be played (even ac3 2.0). If I play an mp3 via Winamp then that works as expected, as does playing an xvid file that has mp3 audio. My problem is that I can only get stereo sound (sort of). My operating system is Windows XP SP3 x86. Radeon 4550 HDMI -> Denon 1909 (HDMI Port 1) -> Samsung LE40M87BD. The Radeon has a HDMI port on it so there is no need for a DVI-HDMI adapter. I've been trying to get HDMI audio working on my Denon 1909 AVR for the past 6 hours and it's just not happening and pretty much sums up the luck I've been having with PCs this week.
